Airline Information
Airline Tickets should be the #1 thing on your list of things to do after securing your fishing dates. Rates can go up and down quickly so keeping an eye on flights and fares can save you hundreds of dollars on your trip. Rob Anderson of Bucket List Fly Fishing has spent lots of time researching the best flights, times including the best layover times etc. We are currently using Kevin Martin of Martin Travel to help with airline tickets. Kevin can work wonders and is highly recommended that you give him a call and have him help you with your reservation.
There are a ton of ways to get from point A to point B. Some are streamlined and can make travel a breeze and some are very lenghty and frustrating to say the least.
The only requirement is that you are in Manaus Brazil in time to catch the flight from Manaus to the Fishing Camp. If you miss this flight it is very expensive and almost not worth the extra money to continue on your trip.

The best way to do this is for all the anglers in your group to travel together when possible. This makes it easy to meet your host at the Airport in Manaus and have everything go smoothly.
Here are our reccomended options for international travel from the United States to Manaus Brazil.
Copa Airlines – A member of Star Aliance, the worlds largest Airline Alliance including United Airlines.
Copa’s hub is located in Panama City and most flights have layovers there. It is a great choice for those flying from the West Coast with numerous options from Los Angeles to Manaus.
American Airlines – Currently has flights from major U.S. Cities that usually have a connection in Miami. American is the best option right now for most anglers.
